If you are looking for a strong drink and good music, look no further! Some friends and I stopped in for drinks after finding the reviews on yelp and we were not disappointed. The Chitarita is the house drink and it was great!!!! Then when we ordered food, it was perfect. We had a good seat so we could see the chef cooking and he was using fresh ingredients...
This is a super small bar work little to no room to walk around in here, but it's one of the best bars on the westside of Detroit! The manager is so cool and down to earth... she actually parties with everyone that comes in. The food is always good and it's a great place to come get a drink, enjoy some mysic from the DJ and just have some fun without the drama...
Perfect hidden gem on the westside of Detroit. The bar is more so a 30+ up crowd so there is a more laid back vibe, and no riff raff. The drinks are cheap, with many specials available during the week, and strong. They have $8 steak on Tuesday and $2 lamb chops on Thursday. I went yesterday, on Thursday, and had the lamb chops. They were so tender and the sauce served with it was delicious!
Excellent dive bar choice. This bar caters to an older crowd (30 and up) so less drama and a smaller crowd. DJ comes in Saturday nights, and there is a solid crowd of regulars. Daily drink specials make this place even better-and ask for the Chita-rita. Freaking excellent.
While out scouting mom and pop establishments for my tv show I needed to have a quick drink and a laugh or 2 just to feel like the world is somewhat normal and I got just that. They had my Jameson Black, the grill was smelling good, and most of all the bartenders were awesome.
